Musical Director

Jason Robison

"The feelings of peace and comfort that come from sharing a witness of Christ through music are unmatched.  Sacred music has a distinct power to pierce hearts that otherwise might not be reached."

Jason RobisonJason pursues music as an avocation rather than a profession.  While in college, he studied music composition, theory, and conducting until switching to a business degree.  For 12 years his business degree and love of music combined as he ran a piano restoration, refinishing, and tuning business, Heirloom Piano Company.  His passion is sacred music.  Christ-centered music has held a tender place in his heart from a young age.  Conducting for Witness Music has definitely been a highlight of his musical career and he cherishes every moment spent in pursuit of that "perfect performance."  Witness Music provides him the privilege of working with incredible people.  The outstanding instrumentalists and choral singers, the administration and staff, the patrons and all those who cherish the message Witness Music represents.  The spiritual blessings he has witnessed in this organization have been very humbling.

Jason is also an award-winning composer and arranger specializing in unique settings of familiar hymns.  His music can be found on soundcloud.com and sheetmusicplus.com.  He has written theme songs for Christian summer camps to fully orchestrated pieces for groups like Witness Music and he is always searching for the next exciting musical project.

He is very grateful to his patient wife and family for their support in having him be a part of this work.  Jason is also grateful for his parents for their tenacity for enduring (and paying for) years of lessons and the constant wrestle about practicing.  His other avocations include his four energetic kids, woodworking, and browsing for classic cars. But, more than likely, when not conducting or composing, he can probably be found out on a small stream making friends with the fish.
