Samaritan Chorale performed on July 4, 2016 at the American Fork Amphitheater.  The event was part of the American Fork Outdoor Summer Concert Series, and we teamed up with Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband for their Independence Day Concert.  As part of this event, Samaritan Chorale sponsored a benefit drive to encourage audience to donate items needed at Valor House, a housing facility for veterans.  Representatives of Valor House who attended were overwhelmed by the response.  A couple of weeks after the performance, Samaritan Chorale also visited Valor House to deliver some additional donations, including cash donations, and also to perform for the residents there.

Samaritan Chorale is a new auditioned choir for Witness Music, of about 40 members.  The special mission of Samaritan Chorale is to combine service with music.  Most of Samaritan Chorale's performances will include an element of service, generally either raising funds or performing some kind of service themselves for various nonprofit organizations along the Wasatch Front.

The next Samaritan Chorale event will be a fundraiser for another nonprofit, to be held this fall.  Watch for details.
